The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering expert services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it is alarmed concerning the higher amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA sassa services.

“This really is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is SRD no absolutely functional office committed to service the more info area every day. The service place designed for intervention experiences a superior influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it complicated to the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to permit the servicing of all prospects and improve use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
